In May of 1978, 84 ladies were sworn in as Manitowish Waters Lioness. This year we are celebrating our 40th

anniversary, Manitowish Waters Lioness are still going strong and we welcome new members! Like us on Facebook

Our board meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 10am at the Koller Library on Hwy 51 in Manitowish Waters. Our
general assembly meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at various restaurants surrounding Manitowish Waters. The
evening begins with a social hour at 5:30 pm, with dinner at 6:30 pm, followed by the general membership meeting.

• Memorial Day Pie Sale and Brat Sale: Friday, May 25, 8am, Village Market
• Bingo: at the Community Building, Monday nights, doors open 6pm, starts 7pm, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, popcorn

• Strawberry Shortcake Sale: July 4th at the Lion's Pavilion, 9am
• Blood Drive, Thursday, July 26th, 1-5pm at the Community Building
• Music in the Park Brat Sale: Sunday August 26 4-6 pm
• Cranberry Colorama Bake Sale, Saturday,October 6th, 8am-? at the Community Building
• Election Day Bake Sale: November 6, 8am at the Community Building
• Annual Deer Camp Pie Auction: Nov. 15th, 6:30 pm at Rustic Roadhaus, Benefits Lelyn Schmidt, a young child born
without eyes.
• Holiday Home Tour, Saturday, December 1, 10am-2pm at Little Bohemia**reserved seating, tickets purchased
beforehand at Village Market Floral, Chamber Office, and Little Bohemia. Tour Homes & Businesses from 10am -
2pm
• Christmas For the Town, Friday, November 30 5:30 pm at the Community Building. Held in conjunction with the
Manitowish Waters Chamber. Homemade cookies baked by the Lioness, and other food will be served.
