Club Information

The Burlington Lioness Club was chartered on March 2, 1979 and is located in District 27-A1 in southeastern Wisconsin.  Our sponsor Club is the Burlington Lions Club.

According to it's Chamber of Commerce, Burlington has gained a reputation and a name as Chocolate City, USA. In 1986, Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson and the Wisconsin state legislature officially designated Burlington as such, in honor of the Nestle Chocolate and Confection Company's 10-year anniversary in our city. Since that time, Burlington has celebrated America's favorite flavor with a three-day ChocolateFest each year in May. Music, children's activities, a Chocolate Parade and of course, CHOCOLATE! ChocolateFest is a wonderful family activity as well as an event in which the entire community participates - including the Burlington Lioness!
